Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, MGallery by Sofitel

 

We arrive at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, MGallery by Sofitel to a room with the most breath taking view of the Blue Mountains. It’s been so many years since I have visited this part of the world and it’s lovely to be back.

 

The hotel has a lovely plate of cheeses and bubbles waiting for our arrival which we enjoy as we take in the view before heading out for a leisurely walk around the grounds of the Hotel as the sun goes down.

 

The next morning I escape to the gardens by the lake for some sketching, followed by sightseeing and a dip in the hotel pool. In the evening we try out the delicious degustation menu at the Hotel’s Eucalyptus Restaurant. Each course more delicious than the next. I’ll never want to cook again!

 

The next day we pop out to the town of Leura for tea, cake and shopping. This is such a lovely place to switch off from the city, we are hardly ready to go home…
